IRSC Spring 2017 Applicants

Published

Hey everyone,

I plan on applying to IRSC's Nursing program for Spring 2017, and thought I would create this thread for us to talk about the application process! I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to study for the NLN? I keep seeing that they're updating the exam on IRSC's website, so I'm not sure if I should use the current study materials? Also has anyone had troubles figuring out transfer credits? I will have a BS from FSU and the courses that I've taken for A&P and Microbio have different course codes than the ones IRSC offers.

Good luck to everyone who plans on applying! Hopefully this thread can be as helpful as the last few semesters' threads have been.

Hey guys can anyone register for their exam I can't and I'm like freaking out! No matter what date I pick it says I cannot register for it

Never mind I was able to register for the NLN! After making two more NLN accounts and freaking out at 1am the website allowed me to register :crying2: typically Irsc saying you can register at midnight and then the NLN official website allows you to only register at 1am! Well I am taking my exam on September 15 at 11:30am. Anyone else know when they are taking their exam ?? I feel crazy just freaking out about this exam lol

It wont let me pay for it :(

It wont let me pay for it :(

You pay for the test at the testing center not on the NLN website

Okay thank you !

Just sent my health science application today, paid the 30 dollar fee and registered for the NLN september 15. Now on to studying for the nln, What is the best book to buy and when are the review sessions being held?

I got the nln review book from amazon i heard its good for studying

I believe so because that is what it is displaying on the requirements page not 2.5 but is not required for spring 2017 but the terms after.

The best study book is the red NLN review guide book. & the review sessions just ended I'm not sure if they do them again or not? Good luck studying! I believe we're going to start a study group for anyone interested? :)

If anyone wants to meet up to study I'll be at Panera Bread in St Lucie West this coming Monday 8th from 10:30am-12pm. Let me know if I should look out for ya :)

Hi new to this website but I am applying to the Spring 2017 RN program. I am finishing up A&P 2 tomorrow. I am so nervous for NLN though. I have my LPN license, is that worth any points?
