IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

Congrats Jessica. Same here can't wait to meet everyone on the 18th. Super excited. Just enrolled in my summer classes so that all I have left are the NUR classes after that.

Ummmmm did anyone else notice that our emails say "Attached is your notification letter for the SPRING 2014 Associate Degree Nursing Program. This is the only notification that you will receive." lol SPRING???????

I did notice that, but on the actual acceptance letter it says fall lol. So many mistakes !!

I called today to let them know that i had not received an email since the 21st stating that they're in the process of choosing the alternates. And the woman just Quickly said "so you're an alternate" and I was so upset, I just said okay and hung up. But I called back and asked her to actually look me up on the list and tell me what my status was. And she said I shouldve received two emails the 21st. I asked her to resend it again and she sent me the same email talking about "they're in the process of selecting alternates" and then she sent me a corrected email saying I was accepted. It's insane.

Most of the advisors are really unhelpful and act as if you're bothering them when you call.. It's their fault they sent the wrong messages in the first place

I called this morning about not getting the attached form and they said they would send it this afternoon and I just checked my email and all they sent were 2 more copies of my acceptance letter.. grrr so maybe some one could email it to me..? My email is [email protected]

I am taking human development, nutrition, ethics and enc1101. Just to get them out of the way. I have the rest from previous stuff I've done.

Yes 2 classes each. At least that's my plan right now. If it gets too hectic I might just do 1 class in summer II and leave ethics for next summer.

It's kinda pathetic how much they have messed up and act like we are the nuisances here.
