Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)
My score was 156, but keep in mind it's based on the scores of your pool of applicants. The first meeting they tell you what you need to have done to be accepted into the program as far as immunizations, background check, etc. and they schedule those for you. The program is three days a week.
Ok everyone. I'm gearing down for next semester that I can apply & want to better my overall score. The people that got accepted or alternate can you please (if you don't mind) telling me 1.) Whats your g.pa. 2.) what was your score on NLN 3). have you taken both Micro & Anatomy (prior to applying) & how many pts did you get for those? Thank you for any help!!!
Same here I had a&p and micro, both a's. I went to some of the review sessions but didn't think they helped that much. I used the nln book and had another test book with 5 complete tests by I think McGraw? Of I were to do it again I would spend a little more time on the language part. I know there are some lists on quizlet.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say congrats to everyone that got accepted & on the alternate list!! I got my denial letter, not too surprised though cause my overall score was much lower that everyone that got accepted. I will retake NLN & hopefully get a great score! Good luck to you all!!
