IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

I've gotten admissions emails at midnight and two in the morning before, so I don't think the time matters, I dont think there is a specific time they will be sent out.

Oh great now I'll be checking every few minutes until I go to sleep lol. I worked yesterday and had to stealthily slip into the bathroom to check my phone all day

Lol that sounds like my day everyday. Does the nursing department have spring break too or is the office staff working? I have a feeling we won't be hearing anything today. It would seriously spoil spring break if we don't. I wonder whether the points were very close and that's why it is taking so long.

I think the only reason people found out earlier last semester is because the pre reqs were changed and the deadline was moved at some point.

Does anyone know about previous semesters? Like I wonder if 2012 people waited the entire 6-8 weeks...

My score was a 159, so looks like I'll be meeting some of you April 18! I really think it depends on not only your total score, but experience and what not too.
