IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

If the letters are sent around the same time each semester, we should get them on or around Thursday !

THANKS gators! Yeah, I know if don't get in this semester, then I will in Spring! I aksed the ursing department, and they just gave me the standard "it takes 4-6 weeks, there are 70 spots, and the scores vary." so it wasn't much help, but I sure hope we will get them soon, the wait is killing me!

I know what you mean about the wait. I keep checking my email at least 20 times per day. Wish they would just get it over with and tell us. You would have thought in this day and age with computers and stuff they would know almost instantly.

What does your limited access application status say? Mine has been "paid health science application fee" for the past two months. it states my NLN and overall score and whatnot but I feel like it should state that I am applied. It's because of my limited transcripts, but it makes me so anxious

I'm not sure that the status changes at all. Mine says the same thing. My friend that is in the program now said that she received her email at 5:00 pm on the 13th day after submissions were due. So, it looks like we have at least a few more days to wait.

Okay, I'm glad im not the only one! My outlook is constantly open and refreshed every hour lol!

Now I'm waiting for 5pm! Lol! so Wednesday the 19th is our 13th day since the deadline! I hope they let us know Wednesday! My birthday is the 21st, that would be an amazing birthday present!
