Hello Everybody!!
I'm applying for the 2-year ADN program (starting Spring 2012) and thought it would be helpful to start a thread and conversate with other ADN hopefuls!
I have nearly all of the pre-reqs completed (except for Chemistry) with all A's and 2 B's, and I'm also currently studying like a mad woman for the NLN exam, which I will be taking in the next month or so.....It would be great to hear back from other applicants (and students already in the program) to see how my stats (and others) match up.
Thanks and good luck :)
I got my acceptance letter. I have 228 points. I didn't take the nutrition class yet. This is the third time I have applied to a RN program. The other 2 times was at Palm Beach State College when I lived in Palm Beach County. It is even tougher to get in down there, last time I missed it by .3 points and I even scored higher on the NLN down there. Just keep trying if you did not get in this time, do what you can to get more points such as retaking the NLN.
You can see the current book (for Fall 2011) list for Fundamentals of Nursing on the IRSC bookstore website. 21 books total (some required, some optional, and some recommended).
On the Acceptance Response Form that we recieved with our acceptance letters it says that "admission into the program program is contigent among a completed physical examination form." So I'm guessing we need it done before the mandatory meeting.
