  1. Received my acceptance as well! Overall score of 167
  2. This is the only forum I've seen for Spring 2015. Anyone else getting anxious for letters? I know I am as the days go by!
  3. It's absolutely doable, but you need to keep in mind that science courses involves A LOT of reading and studying. Definitely construct a reading schedule before the semester starts so you don't fall behind! Good luck!
  4. It takes A LOT of studying and hardwork, but it is possible. Stay on track with reading, make flash cards (LOTS!), and try and find some people to study with. Taking multiple science courses at the same time takes a great deal of discipline!! Good luck with your decision!
  5. The best thing you can do right now is to sit down with a guidance counselor at your school and just talk about your options. Good luck!
  6. Hi everybody!! I took the NLN exam back in September and today I just signed up to take the TEAS exam in hopes of applying to a nursing college in Florida. Does anyone know how the NLN exam and the TEAS exam compare? I did pretty well on the NLN (97th percentile), but I have no idea how the TEAS exam will go!! Any advice is greatly appreciated!! :)
  7. I'm also planning on taking the TEAS exam...
  8. You can purchase the official TEAS study manual through the ATI website. They have 2 options: only the manual ($44) or the manual plus 2 online practice tests ($88). I'm also applying to the UCF college of Nursing!!! Good luck to you :)
  9. Does anybody know how the TEAS test is in comparison to the NLN-RN exam? I've already taken the NLN exam and really well, but now I've signed up to take the the TEAS in mid-December and don't know where to start! Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated :)
  10. You can see the current book (for Fall 2011) list for Fundamentals of Nursing on the IRSC bookstore website. 21 books total (some required, some optional, and some recommended). On the Acceptance Response Form that we recieved with our acceptance letters it says that "admission into the program program is contigent among a completed physical examination form." So I'm guessing we need it done before the mandatory meeting.
  11. Thank you! I've always had such a hard time navigating the IRSC website... Anyone seen the book list? Holy cow!!!!
  12. Congrats to everyone!!!! Does anybody know where to find the Physical Examination form?
  13. Got my acceptance letter.
  14. Does anybody know a rough estimate of how many people applied for Spring?
