IRSC ADN Applying for fall 2013

Hi.Anyone out there applying for fall 2013? There are changes this semester and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of score we may need on the NLN to have a chance at a spot. The application packets aren't available yet and I'm getting anxious! Anyone know when the will put them out?

Hey, another quick question...what kind of bag are you guys planning on bringing to class? Do you think we will need to bring a ton of books and our laptops? Trying to figure out what would work best for us...what do you guys think?

I am thinking of this one: Amazon.com: High Sierra Powerglide Wheeled Book Bag (21 x 14 x 9-Inch, Plum): Sports & Outdoors It got great reviews and will fit my laptop, which is a plus since it's a 17". Just thought I would share.

Thank you all for the congrats. Im looking forward to meeting everyone and starting the program. Hope we get some deals on these books, ive priced some and OUCH. Oh well will be worth it in the long run. Taking my TABE on Wednesday, so will let everyone know how that goes. My financial aide is not working like I hoped it would, any suggestions on student loans?

Alright its gettig close to that time abd I've misplaced the entire packet that they gave us at orientation and the office hasbt been aby help.

Can anyone give me a rundown of exactly what we need between jul 29 and aug 5

Shot-wise and paperwork wise

And our mandatory meeting is at 9 am on the 21st or 22nd ?

And as far as cpr goes, did that needed to be renewed between the 29th abd 5th as well ? Or was that one juss needed to be renewed after a certain date.

JohnnyVirgo...you have to complete your physical between July 29-Aug 5th. The TB test also same dates, which will take three days to read the results. You can download the physical form from the programs website that needs to be filled out by the doctor.

CPR needs to be completed between after June 1st and valid until at least June 2015.

Other requirements-

Copy of health insurance

Copy of signed handbook forms. (they sent revised handbook via email)

Student ID/Parking Decal- these are due by August 26th

The checklist form also needs to be signed and turned in with all your paperwork. Provide your email address and I'll scan it and send you a copy.

The mandatory health science convocation is on August 22nd at 9am. We are required to wear out blue polo and white pants. You should have received an email from instructor with revised book requirements and other information. Check your Rivermail and if you didn't receive it I can forward it to you.

Ok well I'm late to the party but I finally got my invite. Just received my official acceptance letter today! No more alt status for me!!! Yea! I am so excited to start. I have all my books except the concept based workbook and am ready to go. Look forward to meeting everyone:yeah:

I got the email, I just haven't gone through it yet. I know there's some updated info regarding the handbook and all. How about the shots and cpr?
