Hi, I was in the application process with the NMC but I've decided to switch to Ireland. However I don't want to officially start and pay that huge fee until I see the application packet and what kind of information they require. I've searched for it on several forums and although it has been referenced a few times nobody has posted it. I've messaged a few people who claim to have it but never heard back, can somebody help me with this please?! I would greatly appreciate it.
So obviously fewer applicants to Ireland than in the UK..right?
I've started my NMBI application as well around a month ago and am just waiting for my License Verification from PRC to be ready but the rest of my documents were already sent to Dublin. Its crazy fast.
And the huge difference in NMC's to NMBI is just glaring. The former is very regimented, and a psychological roller coaster ride whereas the latter is easy breezy kind of type. We'll see. I've not said bad words to NMBI yet! Hahaha maybe it helps though that I have friends who are in the same route with me as well.
I don't know whether I will ultimately pick on Ireland over UK or the other way around but its a good problem to have quite honestly. I'm just waiting for an employer's interview with Ireland as they made me pick which hospitals would I want. The only problem I see in Ireland is that most hospitals hiring are the private ones. Not entirely a problem but I get a sense that private hospitals tend to be more stringent and low-budgeted..I could be wrong though.
Hopefully everything will fall according to HIS plans :)

Nurse cardio I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me the application packet, someone else said they would a couple weeks ago but I haven't received it yet. I have to pay the fee for the packet regardless but seeing what's entailed in the packet will determine whether I move forward with NMC or NMBI. I've already contacted NMBI and it wasn't much help.
Thanks
i am also torn between choosing uk or ireland. i was hired for kings college under omanfil but the applicant will shoulder the cost fort cbt, although they are going to reimburse the ielts fee but it will be given during near deployment, whereas theres this agency for ireland that pays everything even the nmbi application fee.... guys help me decide please....
Hi there! There is a closed facebook group called Filipino Nurses in Ireland the New Generation. They uploaded the soft copy of the Overseas Application Pack and they are also quite helpful. You can also post your questions on their page and someone will surely answer. .. Hope that helps!
