Hi, I was in the application process with the NMC but I've decided to switch to Ireland. However I don't want to officially start and pay that huge fee until I see the application packet and what kind of information they require. I've searched for it on several forums and although it has been referenced a few times nobody has posted it. I've messaged a few people who claim to have it but never heard back, can somebody help me with this please?! I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm kind of looking at doing the same thing. What made you want to switch from UK to Ireland?
The entire process is hellacious, tedious and I don't know how they justify the expense, there's a couple forums ranting about the NMC process.
Yes it's pretty crazy!

Did you train outside the EU? If so, this is the link you need...

Thank you for contributing however what I"m seeking is the NMBI "soft packet"? I want to see what is entailed in the application because that may be a deal breaker in deciding whether or not I do switch from the NMC. I don't want to pay several hundred dollars to get a packet that I may not use.
Sorry about that! I suggest you give the NMBI a ring, I don't think it entails that much, particularly if you are US trained. They may want you to do an unpaid 6 week adaptation course before issuing a PIN number. Have you contacted **********? They can help with relocation, visa issuing and also obtaining registration. If you explain to them what you've just said here they might email it to you? Hope that helps!
I found this too...
