How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Hi! I just wanted to let everyone know that I just got my letter of acceptance for clinicals starting in the fall. I am so excited!! Of course, I just got handed a dosage calculations book and was told I would be tested on chapters 1, 3, 4, 7 and 9 the end of April. Guess I better get used to it.

Hi Everyone! I am so excited - I got hired at Mayo Medical Center - Rochester, MN as a Patient Care Assistant. A very good foot in the door - I will be able to go right into an RN position when I complete Nursing School and Boards next summer. Have a Med Math Test on the 31st - Wish me luck :)

I'm currently trying to figure out what area of nursing I want to pursue... there's so many options!!
