Hi,

26yrs old, PN student attending Concorde Career Institute. In the middle of August they started an evening LPN program. It is 18 months long. I was if anyone on else on this board is going through an 18 month program?

I have praise all of you that are doing it full time:balloons: Even in the evening program, I feel overwhelmed...I don't think I could keep up with it full time. I chose the evening program because I stay home with my son during the day.

Hello and welcome. I attend a part time program for LPN. It takes 2 years for us. I only have 8 months to go! :) I chose this route for the same reasons you did. I have 4 children and a husband that I was not willing to sacrifice that much time away from. It has worked very well for us. Good luck to you!

Hi and welcome!! Hope you like it here and get lots of support! I am in an 18 month evening program and LOVE it! I could never had done the full-time. I have 2 children ages 3 and 7. I am home during the day and my husband is home in the evening to take care of the children while I'm at school. We go Mon-Thurs, classroom hours are 4-9 and clinical is 4-10. Good Luck!! Only 3 1/2 months left for me, it seems like i just started yesterday!!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!! I really enjoy these forums and I am sure I will stick around!
