This is my first nursing job interview and I am soooooooo nervous.
Has anyone interviewed there? If so, can you tell me about it? Was it just one person or a "team" of people at the interview? What kinds of questions were asked?
Ugh. I am not good in interview situations and dont want to mess this up!

good luck!!!
How did it go?
Well, it went okay.
I was rear-ended earlier in the day so my mind was a bit
distracted.
I could have interviewed better, but oh well, what do you do after the fact?!
It's routinely up to a 4 week hiring process since its a State job, so now its just a
wait and see issue. I hope I hear sooner rather than later, as I REALLY, REALLY need
that job ASAP.

What kind of job did you interview for? Because Eastern State employees, most anyway if not all, do not work for the state; they work for Bluegrass Mental Health/Mental Retardation. However, you would have KY State Retirement.
Let me know if you get the job, and then later on let me know how you like it there. I have contemplated many many times getting a job there, and have interviewed there once, about five years ago. I didn't get hired at that time but now I have psych experience from another hospital so my chances would probably be better.
Oh and I'm curious, why do you need this job ASAP? Because, if Eastern State is anything like Central State, you really will be waiting a little while. If you truly are in that bad need of a job and you wouldn't possibly mind working a different area of nursing besides psych, then try one of the big hospitals like Central Baptist or St Joe's.
Also, you could try The Ridge.
