I worked in several LTC facilities over a six-year period and never received any real interviews. The most I was asked was "When can you start?" and "Why do you want to work here?"
Last year I interviewed for a hospital-based SNF and didn't get the job. But here are some of the questions they asked:
1. Tell us about a disatisfied customer and discuss how you handled it.
2. How would you handle difficult CNAs who are hanging out in the break room when they should be answering call lights?
3. What would you do if you were confronted by a disruptive family member?
4. Do you have any knowledge regarding state regulations in LTC?
5. If a CNA refuses to do something, how would you address it?

first, i can't believe anybody wouldn't bless the day The Commuter walked through their door
second, I'm glad they didn't, because
third, if that was the main focus of the interview, I'd run
LOL! I could tell that the facility had problems with unruly CNAs if they asked me multiple questions about managing difficult aides.first, i can't believe anybody wouldn't bless the day The Commuter walked through their doorsecond, I'm glad they didn't, because
