Since you are in school why not ask your advisor, that is what you are paying them for.
In the US all dialysis training is provider by the employer. There are no training courses for you to take. There is a certification exam :
If your on a student visa then I would be very surprised if this entitles you to work inthe US and unless you have already begun your visa application you will have many years to wait to fain approval to work in the US. I'm no expert in US immigration but if you take a look through some of silverdragons posts you will see the up to date position for overseas nurses who want to work in America
Is that so!? but my school was Kaplan test prep and I think they don't know about courses for nurses. Is it necessary for me to take the certification first then apply for work?
what should I do?
Kaplan test prep is your school? You're here on a student visa for Kaplan test prep school???? Your post is a bit confusing.

hi. I am currently in the USA with a student visa. I have a BS in Nursing degree back in the Philippines. I just recently passed the NCLEX-RN exam and now I am a licensed nurse.
and here is my question. Are there courses or certification that I can take to be a licensed dialysis nurse? If there are, what school are those who offer such thing. thanks in advance!
or, are there schools that caters on-the-job-training experience here in the USA? since I am a foreign student, I would like to know and experience the real hospital experience in the USA.
