The 1st one is unlikely. The 2nd one is what is more likely to happen but not so sure if it's really going to be unlimited in the strict sense.

You can go to the diff. immigration websites for up-to-date details regarding immigration issues, such as http://www.shusterman.com and http://www.murthy.com and there are more when you google.

I say that the 1st one is unlikely because the 50,000 visas that Pres. Bush signed last May 2005 only lasted until Nov. 2006 and out of those 50,000 visas it was found out that only 15,000 or so were actually given to the nurses and the rest were given to their families. If indeed there will be 15k to 25k visas it will most prob. be used as "band-aid" for those caught up in retrogression or a transition to the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill but I doubt it, esp. if there will be a New Comprehensive Immigration Bill by more or less June. There will be no need for that 15-25k anymore.

Also, if you want to know what's happening and what's being discussed by the US Congress you can go to their website at http://www.house.gov. and see their daily comittee hearings.

Just more rumors that have been started across the ocean.

Take the time to do some research and check out the February Bulletin from the State Dept, the Schedule A is now longer even listed. Visas in the US do not become automatically available when they are pulled from somewhere else, it takes at least three months. So nothing in February, and nothing before this summer at the earliest.

The uncapped visas for nurses will be argued in court by the nursing unions, as already is being done. Unlimited visa still requires that the nurse meet all of the requirements, none of the requirements are removed. Do not seen that becoming immediate either.

We will know months in advance when visas will be available again, and will post about it when they are. The rest is all speculation and nothing more.
