Is it true that by february,2007 the US government will release 10-25thousand visa for nurses? I have also heard that congress are now working on to make the visa for nurses unlimited by june 2007.. please give ne more information. Many thanks.

The letter i RECEIVED CAME FROM nATIONAL vISA cENTER, rOCHESTER aVENUE, pORTSMOUTH, NH. The letter pertains to visa pettion. It states that visa numbers are not currently available for the visa category of nurses. The reason is that all had been use up. Do you have any idea when will the visa be available again?

oh!! That's greek to me. I haven't heard any of that AOS and CP. Can you tell me more about it. Im a nurse working in the philippines. Last month I received a letter from national visa center that all the I-140 visas will not available. The reason for the delay is that there are more applicants for visas than there are immigrant visa numbers available in this category under the limitation prescribed by law. Please give me more information. thanks

I think we are n d same boat. My papers were filied in new york. My priority date is oct,2006. I think we have to wait till the congress open the I-140 visa again for nurses. I heard all have been use up.

Now, I have heard that all visas have been used up. Im wondering if this means that it will take me more years before getting my visa and work in the U.S. Please give me more information if anyone of you knows abouit it. I will appreciate it so much..
