sponsor for green card

Hello, everybody!

I'm a registered nurse from Lithuania, and just two months ago I got my RN license in America. It's very happy event in my life :balloons:

Now I live in Wisconsin, but I'm looking for job in Chicago area. I have a lot of friends there and it's a great city!

I had few interviews already in Chicago hospitals, but they don't sponsor for green card. Do anybody knows any hospitals, that can sponsor nurses for green card.

Thank you very much for your help!

Sincerely,

Aurum

I also once considered using the aldatech they appear to be good to me too, but if they help you take the NCLEX and you want to do the process on your own from there then you have to pay them back $2000 plus otherwise then you sign a contract for 18 months. Anyway i decided to do things on my own with the help of your wonderful threads from this website and i think i am doing fine.I am happy for you though Faby

Hi: Sorry, I don' understand. You've got a work permit already ? What are you looking a sponsor for, then?

If you do the process on your own you don't have nothing to pay them back for, I think, maybe, they should pay you instead for your expenses; anyway these aspects are what you'd have to necociate with the Agency. If you want you can visit their web site,(aldatech.com) and check the info they give, it's quite clear. Then you can contact them, if you think you'd be interested. There's no commitment until you don't get to an agreement and sign a contract. I can contact you with the recruiter which I made contact with. she works as I explained before. i don't really know if every recruiter in this Agency works the same. You can send me an email if you want. My best wishes.

Hi Suzanne, Faby and everyone

thanks for the response, actually i am on the EAD (I-765) that is subject to renewal until i go for the interview for the green card, so i was just wondering if it can be used to work as a nurse.

Hi; I don't know really, Are you allowed only to study? or are allowed to work to? I mean, how are you paying for your expenses then? I would ckeck at the UCSIS web site .

Who sponsored you for the EAD? A hospital? Or something completely different?

I was not sponsored by a hospital or agency, I had a different type of sponsorship any way thanks very much i managed to look up the information and found out that i can work on a AED.

That is what the EAD is for, you can begin work 90 days after your papers are filed. But it is also that you are working for the company that is sponsoring you, if it is you that was petitioned. Or is it spousal for you?

Big difference.............that is why I have been asking so many questions...

Thanks Suzanne you have been very helpful it really helped me now all i have to do is pass the NCLEX-RN when the ATT comes, By the way i am taking the CGFNS next month. My EAD is spousal.

Why are you even bothering with the CGFNS exam? I definitely wouldn't unless you are planning to work in either Michigan or Illinois right away. It won't help you in any way, otherwise.

You also won't need to apply for Visa Screen since you are getting a spousal green card. You will only need the NCLEX exam, and possibly an English exam, but that depends on the state's requirements.

Good luck..................

Hi Suzanne,

The only reason why i am taking the CGFNS is that i had already been rostered for it because i did not appy for the CES right away, so i am thinking why not just take it and get done with it in the mean time. Thanks for the advice though. good day

Hello Suzanne,

I got my NCLEX-RN last month and reiceved my lisence two weeks after. Just after having celebrated this, my boyfriend proposed me. We will get married during the summer:loveya: . So I did not apply for the Visa Screen because I will get a spousal green card. But you said English exams will be required. Should I take TSE or TOEFL or both?

Thank you in advance,

Dudette :-)) :Melody: :balloons:

Congratulations...............if you are getting a spousal green card then you actually do not need to worry aobut the English exams, as far as your visa goes. However, some states do have a language requirement...Which state will you be living in?

Thank you Suzanne. We will live in the state of New York. When he proposed I already had an appointment for TSE on March 11th. So I will take the test. Just wondered if I had to go through TOEFL?
