If you think that you have all the requirements for the h1b, then you may accept the offer for the sponsorship of your h1b. Most of us (w/ h1b visa) were all waiting for the availability of visa (GC), but it seems that it may take ages before we can get one because of the retrogression.

Thanks a lot. That means I have to terminate the contract with the hospital sponsor me H1B once the retrogresstion over in order to take the GC.
You may not need to terminate your contract with your petitioner, your h1b sponsor will be the one to communicate with your Green card sponsor and continue the GC application if you wish to..

Hi, Carmenmagda2003,Thanks, i'm good.. i'm enjoying the opportunity of having an h1b visa, currently working as an acute hemodialysis nurse here in Washington State.. i am very satisfied for the training that was given to me by my employer.. although i knew that my visa is just a temporary one, i really appreciate this kind of experience working here in the US and for another great opportunity for my children (also learning experiences for them, being able to study in different countries like Saudi Arabia, Philippines, New Zealand and now US..). Just try your very best, Pray, and you will also get the blessings... Good Luck and God Bless!!

Hi salveapril. dat's good to hear that ur enjoying your stay in Washington. All your hard work paid off. I already have an approved petition of H1B from USCIS after RFE last February. Now, i'm waiting for my scheduled date of interview at the US consular here in the Philippines. Since we have the same application for h1B, did you undergo a medical examination before your visa stamping interview? The lawyer told me that it's not necessary to have medical check since i'm only a temporary worker. juz want to make it sure. what are the possible questions at consul? Please help. Thank you po. God bless you. and your family.
They don't require medical exam before the consular interview, but we are required to submit medical cert. to our employer and this is renewable every year. As for my experience during my interview, I wasn't ask anything about my job, I just presented my approved h1b, and my visa screen, however, they do ask me if my family will be joining me here. I think, questions varies with each applicant.. You will make it.. Good luck and God Bless!
Thank you salveapril. Ok i won't go for a medical examination here. thank you .

What do you mean by sponsor to transfer your H1b status? If you mean you need another H1b employer then I think you may have issues in CA as a lot of new grads are struggling especially in CA, although a lot will depend where in CA you are looking.
What I meant is I need a new employer to file me a new H1b. I prefer in California since most of my relatives and families are living there. I am so homesick here. I hope to find a new job though. Thanks.
All you can do is contact hospitals in the areas you want to live and see if they will go the H1b route with you/
