accredited schools here in the philippines to take the NCLEX-RN exam

hello and gud evening to all. i have a question regarding schools here in the philippines. is NCLEX choosy about which school you've got your degree from especially if its outside United States? if so, would somebody please show me where i could find a list of schools here in the philippines that are accredited to take the NCLEX-RN exam. thanks so much

It is better to choose a school whose graduates are able to take the US Nursing licensure exam (more popularly known as NCLEX). That way you know that that school's curriculum is approved by the NCLEX. There is a thread here titled "which school to choose." I suggest you read that first. Also read all the "sticky" threads at the top of this board, specially the primer. Most questions of those planning on taking up nursing and practicing in the USA are answered there. Good luck.

there are so many nursing schools ... but please make it sure you choose those which have been in existence 5 years of more and please go to Welcome to the Official Website of the Commission on Higher Education for list of recognized institution

may i suggest for you to check if the school you are planning to attend is accredited by ched. there are many nursing schools in the philippines nowadays. but not all school are the same. some will charge you for bogus classes you don't even need. i suggest do you homework, meaning ask anyone who already took their nclexrn exam. there are a lot of good nursing schools there. a good nursing school have a lot of former students who passed nclex-rn. i doubt that their is a list about nclexrn accredited schools in the philippines. what you need to know is to see if the school matches the curriculums that are required for nclexrn. a good nursing school is also provide a good foundation of basic nursing and other nursing related classes..pls. do select the best school, goodluck!!:smiletea2:

micdelrosario, try university of makati in guadalupe. two rides from ortigas. unciano antipolo is also two rides away from your place.

Ask CHED, you'll use cgfns at the end and they know every school in the Phil that is CHED accredited...was even surprised to find out that they know my school address when they had my report

from edsa-boni, make a right after guadalupe bridge afterwhich you can ask for directions from jeepney drivers.
