International Graduates that are successful in applying and taking the NCLEX.

World Registration

Hello everyone!

I wanted to hear the stories of international grads who had the success of getting their ATT from different states.

We know that some states are not as open as other states with international graduates. Mostly due to lack of hours, theories and cases issues.

NRSKarenRN posted: These are states having concerns over concurrent therory and practicum, so I would look at other 37 states to obtain license:

Alabama

Arizona

California

Georgia

Illinois

Kansas

Louisiana

Maryland

North Dakota

Oklahoma

Vermont

Virginia

Washington

If there are international graduates who have had the success in acquiring an ATT and taking the exam please share your story. I believe that a majority of us need a shed of light and regain some hope.

hello guys, Im new here. I just want to ask. Im planning to apply for Hawaii but was thinking of transferring to Nevada incase I pass the NCLEX. Do I need a work experience before I can transfer? Im a Ph Graduate no NLE yet. Currently residing at Cali, and a fresh graduate.

hello, may i ask what are the other 15 states you were referring. im not really familiar with this issue and only found out this year. thank you

Hi everyone! I just want to share, finally after 11 months of waiting, the representative from NYSED whom I have talked with awhile ago said that I just got approved! :) Glory to God! But I'm thinking shall I be expecting a snail mail of notification from them or through email?

hey there! I'm also trying to apply to New York and I also didn't take the PNLE. Isn't it that the CGFNS CVS has license verification. What did you put there since you didn't have one?

I just received my eligibility for NCLEX-RN Oregon. It took only a month to process my application.

hello good day I was able to receive my ATT in California. I graduated in the Philippines last march 2012. I got my denial letter end on September and was able to enroll in both classes to complete the deficiencies. I finished both classes at the end of February and it took 2 months to receive my eligibility. Now I have my ATT and have scheduled a date to take the exam next month. Don't give up everybody!!! there is hope!!!!

Asking about types of questions is getting rather close to breaking the confidentiality clause you sign with pearsonvue. One thing to remember is the exam can ask you anything and will be different for everyone as all varies depending on how you answered the question before. Suggest a read of the NCLEX forum under the student tab above

Hi there. I'm sorry for the late reply. I've just wrote not applicable.

I'm from INDIA, studied Diploma in Nursing (3.5yrs) in India.

Applied to CA BRN in 2009.

After 1.5 yrs, after all satisfied paper work got Accepted to sit in NCLEX-RN & got ATT from PERSON VUE.

But unfortunately couldn't pass it. (bcoz its been 4 yrs I'm out of RN Program so Need a Strong review of it.)
