Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Anyone know of a similar structured online lpn to RN school, that doesn't have a cpne components like excelsior. ICHS doesn't allow students to see their GAP results, and verbally tell you what you passed or not. I'm beyond skeptical about what they claim my results are, as I have several other degrees two psychology and they expect be to believe I failed that component of the exam. When the exam was very easy, and they won't give me credit. Part of me believes it to get more money for additional classes. If job security wasn't a issue or childcare due to the current pandemic, maybe it wouldn't matter to me..but right now it does! I think of a A-BSN, program that cheaper and ACCEPT FASFA...but if there anyone who know of any other ONLINE ADN programs similar to ICHS ..please let me know. I heard of west palm beach but they currently don't have accreditation.

I got my gap results on elsewhere, just took forever and being persistent. They sent me the code to view results. Theres Indiana state university but they don't work for CA students.
yes, I've made several phone calls and emails and have been given the run around. I see on this website someone mention a LPN-RN program thats 6 months and accredited, Siena College of Health...I trying to find more information about that or an online accelerated BSN program. Indian State I did a little research and it is almost 3 years. Nursing is a second career for me I have several degrees in psychology and social work. So I'm trying to do a shorter route if possible....however than you for replying ! I appreciate that

yes, I heard a year ago ICHS was only 10,000. I feel they should have Tap and Pell if they decide to raise the tuition almost $40,000...we are not RN's yet! I know I don't have that kind of money yet to pay out of pocket, and feed my family!

I am from la and starting in June! I'm just waiting for a schedule from the school!
Hi Elleveein
they didn’t get me any schedule yet at this time. Call the school they will answer any questions you have. It’s better to inquire straight from them to give you the accurate and update answers. As my experience, they all professionals and helpful. I can’t wait to start this June 2020. Only you have to be there is for clinical hours which is at least 2 weeks per semester ( every 3months) And you can break down in two trip if you like.
Thanks,

Hi, I'm also supposed to be starting June 8. Did anyone take the gap-pharmacology exam if so please email me I have a few questions?

The school cost 35,000 unless you take the GAP and skip a few classes, then it's 24K. No fasfa accepted (financial aid) if you can't get meritize loan then you have to pay out of pocket between 1000-2,200 per month.
