International College of Health Sciences

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. I did my pre-reqs with straighterline. Is micro hard with them ? I am only missing micro.

It was easier with them than AP was with straighterline. Just cost more.

? A&P is hard. I did the class I just need to do the lab for micro but the kit is expensive.

I'm doing the labs too. It's kinda gross doing dissections at home but as long as I get my credits LOL

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me how was their experience taking A&P with straighterline?. I am planning on going to IHS starting OCt 2020.

Lab kits are expensive. but the course is self paced. If you are a lpn or took anp before you can complete it in a week. If you never took it before, around 4 weeks.

What about the exams? were they hard. Also around how much is the lab kits? what do they require to do for lab?

I took anp before so I don't think it was hard. In lab you grow cultures etc. ..about btw 170-250 per kit depends if u need a combo kit for anp2 also

I'll be starting ICHS in June. Can anyone tell me how soon before school starts do they contact you with the schedule of classes and clinical dates? Also, is there anyone from the Los Angeles area starting in June as well?
