Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Hello I am from Bay Area,Ca looking to start this program Oct 2020 has anyone graduated and is not licensed in Ca? please respond or email me [email protected]

This is my backup school , if I don’t get in to a community college bridge program next year. I’m in Los Angeles, I would love to know this answer as well. That would be my worst nightmare to complete a program and not be able to get a license in my home state. ?

Hi! Curious what other schools you're hoping to get into in Los Angeles (I'm from the bay area). I was told that if we were to get our license in Florida, then we can endorse it in California. But I have to research on both BON websites for both states. I would be bummed out if I can't get my RN license transferred to California! ?

I’m applying to Long Beach city college, Glendale community and southwest LA community. Bridge programs only, I’m not interested in the 2 year programs.

Good luck to you! And I agree, I would rather do a bridge program too!

Good to know! Thank you for informing us! ?

Few of them are graduating this year. International College of Health Sciences is perfect in my schedule I can study while working. And for clinical you have to fly to Florida once in every semester but you have to stay there for 14days x 12hrs to complete clinical in every semester. So you may be flying 4x to complete the program. They are accredited in BON Florida ACEN and ACCN Accredited. I am not worried about getting a endorsement from BON of Florida going to California as long as I am holding a license of RN that all matters. NURSING School in California are notoriously expensive. So, I think it is wise to go out of state which is still govern under the state and school is accredited that's more important.

There has been a lot of changes due to covid-19, but the instructors have been very helpful as they're dealing with the changes too. I'm actually just finishing up med surg 1 and psych, I want to call the school tomorrow and ask if it's possible to take my capstone along with med surg 2 and maternity/peds for next semester.
Did they agree to let you take capstone with med surge 2 and maternity/peds?

It's simple/ grammatical incorrect nursing questions. Honestly I wouldn't waste time studying for it. Study for pharmacology using D/H or if you use dimensional analysis... good luck
