thanks to sites i'll check it soon i'm in the verge of breaking down we have been given a case to present individually and my topic is dengue we're just in 2nd year pls help in any way you can we've only got till friday!!!! guess 3 days is too long for our c.i.'s!!!!

for the nursing care, you aim to treat the nursing problems, so fever, headache, nausea/vomiting, rash, pain and possibly dealing with hemorrhage from the nose, or gums need to be considered. in severe cases, the patients may proceed to shock. so, your nursing care will encompass those problems.

what kind of information do you need? the links i posted above give you specific information on the signs and symptoms of dengue. all care plans begin by knowing what your patient's signs and symptoms are. you can use those articles to help you with the assessment of your patient. that assessment is the first and most important step in writing a care plan.

there are two threads in the nursing student forums on how to put together care plans. you should read the posts on them. then, if you still have a question, ask a more specific question so i can help you.
