More info from you would be helpful. Background ? are you a nurse ? ASN/BSN ? Long time goals ? What has your research revealed to you ?
I am an Rn, BSn working as bedside nurse .
My plan is to work in healthcare industry..something different than bedside nursing..
I am a bedside nurse, ortho to be exact. I am also involved in being a diabetes mini-expert. I started to get interested in Informatics as I find that Epic needs CONSTANT help with ideas for optimizing. I audit blood sugars
I kind of fell into it. We went "live" with Epic about 2 1/2 years ago and I just loved it and want to do more. There is a TON of needs for clinical education, new hire training, and research. The field is wide open. I am 50 years old and know that I am not going to make it 15 more years at the bedside (I have only been a nurse for 4 years!), although I still love it.
