One of their reps showed up at my patient's home. (He was at the wrong address) and insisted he was right. I had to tell him to leave my patient's room so I could care for the child. (Extended family doesn't know the names of all the nurses and thought it might have been a supervisor). Very odd and uncomfortable experience. As I had my name tag & title on, he had the audacity to try and sell his con to me....don't think so buddy.

I am thinking about indiana state, online, who do I need to call abut financial aid, Fassa and depth of edc. Loan, I wanna use this to pay for classes.

Specializes in LTC, med/surg, hospice.

I would go on their official website. To be successful in online courses, you will need to be resourceful and computer savvy enough to seek out contacts and other information.

You call the financial aid office at ISU. Just go to the ISU website. It's the same office as for those attending on campus. Most federal aid is not available for the challenge exams. You may need to apply to ISU first before the financial aid dept will discuss with you. FAFSA is the federal aid application, nothing to do with school but if you don't submit you can't be eligible. I have no idea what depth of edc means.

TCN does not offer financial aid (they can't they are a publisher not a school) but high interest private loans with aggressive collection tactics.

You must have a strong clinical knowledge and experience base to be successful as well as a motivated independent learner to be successful in a distance based challenge exam and online learning program. Plus you need strong facility links to be able to set up your own clinical rotations locally otherwise travel (at your expense) to Indiana for your clinical rotations. Things to consider.
