we feel that one of the nurse at our place recently being appointed may not be a registered nurse. Checks have been made but found nothing wrong. all nuring team still feel there is somthing not right and further checks should be done. Line manager has been informed but has done nothing about it. what shall we do?

If these checks have been done via NMC and this nurse is on the register, then she must be a registered nurse. I would think a CRB check has been done also? And references from previous employers? What is it you feel is not right? And what further checks do you think your manager should be doing? If you could be more specific about your concerns, maybe more suggestions will come.

You can run a check yourself on the NMC web site. We had a nurse like this she was so bad, but she was an RN

Before your manager can act she will need evidence of poor practice or resonable evidence of suspician of lack of capability. If you have concerns you need to document and be prepared to support that in either discliplinary or capability hearing.
Are you able to give an idea of why you are suspicious of this nurse which may help us to give advice more specifically to your concerns

we have had a terrible nurse...makes you wonder what she knew [more important what she didn't have a clue about]
she had joined a traveling nurse job from canada...worked in several states and bought a house here [louisiana] on here last traveling job..
she has got to have a rn license because the agency wouldn't have hired if not...and she has worked in every hospital and nursing home in the area and has left a trail of horror stories wherever she worked..
the last i had heard she was working as rn coverage at yet another nursing home
funny the dumbest people have somehow convinced themselves that they know everything

There have been cases in the US of people impersonating a registered nurse and using someone elses name and license.
