In search of a nursing buddy

I'm in search of a nursing buddy/friend to keep in contact with this semester. Someone to keep in contact with about the stresses of nursing school, study tips etc.

This is a great idea! I just got my letter telling me I will enter the program in January! I was so excited getting the letter but when I handed the card back in telling them I will attend, a huge wave of fear and uncertainty came over me. That was something I did not expect. I will need a nurse buddy (or several), too!

Much of the transition from nursing student wannabe to competent nurse is filled with these dichotomous moments of elation blended with trepidation.

Take heart that, for the most part, the system works and the substantial majority of those who receive those acceptance notices ultimately secure their RN licenses.

To all of you: It's never to early to be trying to get a sense of the job markets in various areas around the country and those areas which you'd like to or be willing to live (at least for awhile).

Thank you for the advice! I'm having a tough go of it as of late, even though I am acing my exams. I think I'm not handling the stress well, and am hoping it gets better
