In lieu of conviction

Hey guys random topic. I'm from Ohio and was recently pulled over in December for suspected OVI. I wasn't found guilty in trial (blew under the limit) but as they searched my car they found two aderall tablets of a friend and possible steroids. Can anyone enlighten me on what I may expect going forward. I haven't been charged yet, it's almost been four months, but if I do get charged I plan on entering an In Lieu of conviction program.

what would you be guilty of? keeping a messy car? and why did you allow them to search?

Seems like if you were going to face consequences, you would have by now. If you are that worried, schedule a consultation with a lawyer who can actually answer your questions, vs. a bunch of nurses who likely don't also have a criminal law background.

If you are charged, you need to lawyer up. Then follow that attorney's advice to a T.

Keep in mind that should you be charged and convicted, you will have to report this to the BON. You may also have to report the "lieu of conviction" program, depending on what your BON wants to know. Check your BON's website for what you may need to report.
