This thread is for discussion on immigration requirements for Australia and New Zealand. Questions on nurse requirements please post in the Nurse Registration forum and if necessary this thread Meeting APHRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Thanks for the response, dy3p. Maybe it was bec you were applying from UAE while I am from the Phils? Don't really know. Just wondering. Will let the sleeping dogs lie, as they say. My intake will be on the 8 May anyway. More patience
I don't think it should matter. There were couple of posts here as well who apparently got their visa in less than a week.
Hi everyone. Could anyone here share experiences with the Phils. immigration upon departure? Considering you have the necessary docs for the BP, what else did your immi officer ask from you?
Hi msschwarz, I see that you're going to ACN for the BP? am I right? may I ask how did you enroll, did you send the application form and requirements via post or just by email? and how did you pay for the application and tuition fee? I'm still waiting for the AFP check result, hopefully next week, then I plan to send an application letter to ACN, planning to enroll for the June intake, I'm just not sure if I can send them by email which will be much faster compare to the post.

Hi cucci. I sent my application via email. Scanned the needed docs and paid the initial fee using a MasterCard. After some time, I received the letter of acceptance even without the AFP cert and TST results. I explained the circumstances of sending them late and was nevertheless accepted.
On the letter of acceptance are further instructions re the other needed docs and payment.

Thank you for the reply.. I sent my application today, hope to get a response soon.. How long did you wait before they sent you the acceptance letter? I'm quite anxious, I want to join the June intake.
dear all ,if i want to apply for ANMAC , and my experience more than 10 year experience , and now am working in UAE for 8 years i need to get good standing for from nursing council foe every country that i worked before or only last five years .
please advice
First, are you applying for a modified or full skills assessment? To answer your question, as per the ANMAC page, "This needs to be done for every country or jurisdiction in which you have been registered." It didn't specify the exact time frame they were looking for. In my case, I sent both from my initial country of registration as well as from UAE - HAAD.
