I want to migrate in Canada without an agency, their website is very user friendly and easy to understand. It includes a step by step information. But somehow I'm till confused how to migrate in Canada under the skilled migration? I have already contacted the College of Ontario for the application registration for my credential assessment. Now, I don't know what to do next. Will I accomplish forms for immigration or wait for the response of CNO assessment? Please help me:cry:

Hi!
I just want to ask, why did you choose Ontario ? I would like to know if you may because Im also interested about immigration concerning diiferent provinces of Canada? i only knew a little about their IEN's requirements. Maybe it would help me to figure out things easily.
Thank you very much.
I have decided to apply for Saskatchewan instead of Ontario. I mailed my application for assessment last April, they have probably received all my requirements by this time but upto now I don't have any feedback about it. They told me it will take longer then expected due to an increase in IEN applicants. I searched for all the provinces and found out that its easy to apply in Saskatchewan thats why I chose that province. I don't have any relatives in Canada so any province will do. In addition, cost of living in Saskatchewan is much lower than Ontario. I wouldn't have such big adjustment except for the climate because Saskatchewan, as from my research, is laid back province. I wouldn't want to live in a place like New York, thats is at par with Ontario.
Alberta is the ONLY province that doesn not have a provincial sales tax, only the GST of 5%. Every other province uses a provincial sales tax to support the economic infrastructure of the province. Alberta is far wealthier due to oil & gas revenues (although you wouldn't know it by the property and related taxes it's residents pay) than the rest of Canada.

I went to Alberta so I'm not really au fait with Ontario rules. You will have to check out their website.
For Alberta I got my work permit after I had my job offer. However, as an IEN here you can work as a grad nurse before you take CRNE, once you have been approved by the College of nursing of course.
I don't think you can go down the TWP route if you don't have a firm job offer but I will stand corrected on that if that's not the case.
