Take proof of your passing the nursing exam, as well as the English exam with you.
It normally takes about four months to get the Certificate once you complete both of the required exams. It is has absolutely nothing to do with when you submitted your application to them. They can't processs the VSC without the required exams completed.

hi, chubbyann. sorry to hear about your dilemma. just for your info, i passed the IELTS in november and had the test results sent to ICHP by courier. then from the time they had received my test scores, it took 3 days to issue my visa screen. i'd suggest it would be best to give them a call. good luck!:)

hello! i am a registered nurse here in the Philippines who recently applied for immigrant visa last February 2005 then eventually got my approval last June 2005. My case has been forwarded to NVC last July 2005 but until now i haven't received yet my Packet 3 and it has been more than 6 months now since NVC last contacted me! what could be wrong!?!?! then just awhile ago as i was reviewing my papers for immigration i found out in my letter from NVC that my preference category is E-3 Skilled Workers! should it have been E-3 Professional Workers or EX Schedule A Category instead of E-3 Skilled Workers since i am a nurse??!!! please help me...i have been deeply bothered about this situation i am into right now... i was thinking that because i was Categorized under the E-3 Skilled Workers, this could even make the processing of my papers extremely longer since i believe if this is so i won't be considered in the 50000 recaptured visas intended for PTs and RNs...what do u think??? please help me anyone!!! whoa!!!
is there anyone processing your papers like an agency or an employer? if you have then you better ask them and clear things out.
is there a thrid party like an angency or employer procesing visa for you? if there is then you better ask them and clear things out....
i am currently in an agency...i don't know why until now the agency haven't received a fee bill for me to recieve my instruction packet from the NVC yet when in fact it has been more than 6 months already since i got my approval from the uscis and then forwarded to the NVC. i asked my agency about this already but all that they told me is that they are still waiting for the NVC to communicate with them regarding my petition. my question is, is it normal for NVC not to give you a fee bill for more than 6 months since the case has been forwarded to them? what happened to your case when it was forwarded to NVC after the approval from the USCIS? did the NVC immediately give you a fee bill for them to mail to you your instruction packet or packet 3? or did you wait for a certain period like for many months before they give you the fee bill? please give me a sound advice about this case...thank you so much!

had you been classified as EX, it only takes at least ONE MONTH from I140 approval to generation of fee bill. then it takes anywhere between 2-4 months for the PACKET 3 to be released. this is dependent on how fast your agency pays your fee bill.
i answered some of your questions in the NVC-CP-GC Tracker thread in the international forum.
thanks

Titanium: I would presume that your employer or immigrant lawyer had specified the the following info in your i-140 application:
Status sought: E-3 Skilled Worker
Category: Schedule A Nurse
If this has been the case then don't fret, your application isn't wrong. But otherwise if you have been applied for a different category other than Schedule A, then you really can't expect to receive the fee bill since no visa numbers are available for them until now. Your employer/agency should receive a notification regarding that. Give your employer/lawyers a call or a good email about your concern. I'm hoping that this will be resolved with a simple follow-up. Hang on there.
