hello! I am a filipina nurse living here in bay area. I just came here last year so I don't really know how to deal with all the nursing issues that they have here. So, i'm not eligible to take the NCLEX-RN and they say that if I want to be a nurse here, I must study again. I'm okay with that but I don't really know what nursing program I am taking.. is it LVN? Does anyone here knows a good nursing school in bay area???? Please enlighten me!
Were these schools your friend and the other person located in Nor CA or So CA? Did they already get their ATT's?The school's name can be mentioned since it's got to be CA BRN approved and on their website listing so don't be shy in naming them.
There's over 7,500 PH applicants alone that are still searching, of course, we all know that most will be very limited in their enrollment as there are also other stranded and frustrated applicants from other parts of the world all looking.
They don't have their ATT as of the moment ....since they just started the program a month ago ....and is expected to finish next month
I'm sorry for replying late ... I'am also reviewing for my upcoming nclex exam.... sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused you .........check national university in san diego, Mount Saint Mary's College (MSMC), CSU san bernardino( but my friend told me they won't be offering it again after this summer semester), or Fresno State (since fresno state is actually applying to the BRN to create a bridging program for IENS for NCLEX eligibility)
Now that is a start. I'm glad you are not like the others and actually posted the schools.
Hello all, I just wanted to give an update of what had happened to me after being declined nclex rn here in cali. So I thought challenging lvn is not bad at all, and I am an lvn in ca now. Some pH rn's are bridging lvn to rn and the most popular school here in my place is unitek college. On the other hand I've also applied eligibility in hawaii and I plan to take the test before this year end. Hoping I can apply reciprocity to us states who participates in CML. I am very open for relocation yes, I don't mind at all.
Exactly. You can apply assuming that you meet the requirements and find out that in fact you are not eligible for licensing. Always apply to the location where you wish to live and work as this is the most economical and quickest route. If possible, obtain your nursing education in the country where you wish to practice.
