I'm totally screwed!!

I just called EC because I had an outstanding balance due. I found out that the acct was sent to collections AND to top it off, I was withdrawn from the program and would have to pay the $895 all over again.:scrying: I told the guy that I spoke with someone previously when I had my car accident and told them that I was unable to pay the last 2 payments at that time. I was out of work for an entire year. He told me unfortunately no notes were taken to update my acct so I have to start all over again.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I really don't know what to do at this point besides pay the $300 that I owe.

Just wanted to give you a hug and wish you the best in whichever Rn track you pursue. Traci

Thanks everyone for helping me lift my spirits. I truly appreciate it. :heartbeat What I plan to do is try to apply to each RN and BSN program here in NY. And hopefully I will get accepted to Fall or Spring semester. Then if all DOESN"T go well, I will try EC again. I was even thinking about re-applying to the BSN program I previously attended. Maybe I'll have a better chance. Only problem is it was in GA. But by any means necessay, I have to get my RN.

Thanks guys and gals.....you're the best!

Did you try Helene Fuld? They have a LPN-RN track, most LPN's here in NY go through their program. Adelphi has an LPN-BSN program as well, my friend is starting this fall. Nassau CC also has an LPN-RN program. Just throwing some options out there for you.

Can I ask you why aren't you considering EC anymore?

I guess I'm not as disciplined as I thought.

It's not for everyone, that's for sure. It doesn't reflect on you as a person, though -- I hope you know that. Some people just need different structures for effective learning. I'm sure you'll get your RN!
