I'm totally screwed!!

I just called EC because I had an outstanding balance due. I found out that the acct was sent to collections AND to top it off, I was withdrawn from the program and would have to pay the $895 all over again.:scrying: I told the guy that I spoke with someone previously when I had my car accident and told them that I was unable to pay the last 2 payments at that time. I was out of work for an entire year. He told me unfortunately no notes were taken to update my acct so I have to start all over again.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I really don't know what to do at this point besides pay the $300 that I owe.

Well congrats to you. I wish you all the best. I should be finished but I really didn't have the money to pay for anything. I was barely making my necessities with 2 kids. Had to take my little one out from private school. I really feel like a total bum!

Sounds like we are in the same boat, had to take mine out too. She was in private school all her life, she's now in JHS so I guess she'll live. I read on a previous post of yours you were thinking about moving to Texas, so am I!! New York City life is getting to me. Let me know how I can help.

BetterMe, I am so ready to fly this coupe....all this stress, hoops and hurdles you have to overcome. It was never this hard when I lived down south. I mean...I didn't have to cut off my leg just to get in school. Now it's just ridiculous. The waiting lists, the competition, the high rent, everything. My dgtr is a Senior this year and when she graduates, I'm out. I'm trying to see what my best option would be. VA or TX. I got hit by a drunk driver and now I have to start all over for EC. I'm so happy for you though. You go girl....you did it! I'm praying for you.

At least you know now that you don't have to enroll until you're reading to take the nursing exams, and you didn't actually lose any exams ... small consolation, I know, but there it is.

Also when your ready to re-enroll you can get in the new payment plan. which includes your enrollment, 4 nursing exams and i believe your graduation fee for $1595. I don't know all the details with the new payment plan but I'm sure someone here can tell you. It may be a blessing in disguise.

You're right Lunah. I guess I just had to have someone else help me see it for what it was worth. Maybe EC is not for me?? Hmmmm.....I guess I need to really rethink my RN track. I really want my RN. Thanks Lunah.:wink2:

Wow, didn't realize so much has changed in 1 year. Thanks for the info. Like I was telling Lunah, maybe this EC track is not for me. I really don't know. At this point, I'm weighing ALL options. I don't want to make a big mistake again.:)

hi, the package price includes all the exam not only 4 exam. Also it includes all the practice exams. i just enrolled in the package price. You can only register up to 4 exam only but the price covers all the exam, practice exam, enrollemnt fee, graduation fee and FCCA exam.
