I'm studying for micro through excelsior college, does anyone have any pointers.... Please

I'm taking Micro at the local community college. I view Micro as the root of all evil....and stresses me out like no other. I'm sorry I am of no help.

Specializes in Geriatrics.

I am taking micro via TCN. I wanted to be done with it in JUne LOL. I am only on chapt. 6. I know what you mean by STRESS. Good luck

Micro will probably be my next class with TCN. I got some flashcards the other day off Elsevier's half price sale and will be toting those everywhere I'm sure. Even my traditional school friends said it was a pain so I'm preparing to get myself as many helpful books, flashcards, youtube videos as I can.

Micro for me was my favorite class and only because of an awesome instructor! I'd take his class again just because he's that awesome! I don't think anyone got less than a B

Studygorup101 and micro demystified from the library - worked for me, got an A on the excelsior exam! Kassandra

I used Micro-Demystified (spelling?) and my old Micro book from LPN school. Not too bad, I got a B! Good Luck!!

I used micro demystified along with vangonotes, ec practice tests, the required micro book, and watched a few YouTube vids to clear up anything I was having problems with (Krebs cycle, etc). Good luck!

three items i used and got an A ... Microbiology Demystified (read it cover to cover and answer the mini-question quizes), and then the audio from vangonotes.com (search for the recommended textbook from EC, and download to mp3 player) listened to it 2-3 times through I think, EC's practice exam took version A at beginning of studying and version B a week before the exam...viola! Easy A!
