Ive been studying for months and getting 70s and 80s with Lippincott, Saunders. Learningext, little bit of Mosbys (found that too easy for me), Exam Cram (not bad). I feel like Im studying or reading all of the time. I do a minimum of 200 questions daily but always more. I just started Kaplan's Qbank and am getting 50s and 60s. Im finding meds I never heard of..etc. I havent taken NCLEX yet but Im starting to get very discouraged and like Im forgetting things. Im starting to really stress and feel sick and like Ill never pass.

Those are the scores most people get with Kaplan, and they pass. I was at 50's and 60's all the time and I passed. Kaplan has a high level, don't stress about it.

Its hard to study all the time and retain the information. Maybe pick the best book and cut back a little? Just a little advice.

It sounds liek you've been doing lots to prepare, but make sure that you aren't doing TOO much. It's important to not do more than the mind can handle in one day. I've been doing Saunder's 4th ed. all the way, and I have a 9 days before I take my NCLEX. I've been consistently scoring in the 80's when I choose 100 ?'s from all content areas. On the weekends I review my notes and make sure that I review medications.
Good luck! When do you test? Are you a first time tester? RN/LPN?

OMG I so understand where u are coming from. Kaplan does have some meds that I have never heard of . I study alot i try to do atleast 100 questions with the Q bank per day getting 50-60's. Trainer 6 I got 66, I'm going to do trainer 7 on tuesday. I take the NCLEX on Friday and with all the studing i've been doing. I'm still scared. So Butterflybee you are not alone
Im a first time test taker. I finished school last year August 2007 and as you know it is better to take the test right out of nursing school. Just started studying for NCLEX in March/April.
I tend to get bored when using the same book (same questions...)although I do use one main book consistently, Saunders.
I was one of the top three in my nursing class. I think Im getting so anxious to take the NCLEX and get it over with. Thank you so much for the encouragement. This constant studying day in day out, night after night and not getting the 'good' grades gets very discouraging. It makes me feel a little better knowing Im not alone.
I am really beginning to get worried sick over this....
