I received my acceptance letter last Saturday and it's finally starting to sink in. I can't believe I'll be a nurse! I start in January and it's an Accelerated BSN program.

Hey new nursing student friends, what department do you guys want to work in once you graduate? I believe we all should be graduating Aug 2012.

hmmm i start in january and my program is 5 semesters so i wont graduate til wint 2013.. but i have no idea what ild like to work but im very interested in psych and emergency

Oh wow! Winter 2013? You must receive summer breaks? I go straight through summer, no breaks for us. I'm done the first week of Aug 2012 and my program is 18mths (5 semesters). I start 3rd week of Jan 2011. And I want to work in critical care.

My program is 5 semesters too and we will be done the first week of August (2012). We go straight through the summers. I would like to work in Labor and delivery. I am very exicted but also very nervous too. Here we go!!!

Labor and Delivery, that's awesome! I don't think I'd be a good fit, I'd be crying too much. I love babies, but not viewing the birth. Of course I know it's more to it, but hey let the clincals be the judge. I may really like it.
