Illinois CT-NUR??

Greetings!

What a great website! invaluable.;)

Clarification please, anyone?

Is ILL's CTNUR form a requirement for licensure application in said state? does this mean that I have to be a licensed, practicing RN from my country of origin in order for me to be eligible? Is it the same with NJ and practically all states?

I'm a fresh BSN graduate from Manila and I really dont have any intentions of taking the local NLEs.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

Kudos to the people running this awesome joint!;)

i's ok if you didnt take the local board exam.. dont pass it if you dont have one.. that's it.. but if you have a license here, you should send the form to PRC then they will be the one to forward the form to CTS.. this is just to disclose informations about the applicant..

Thanks for the reply kathykaye, Congratulations on the successes of your endeavors!

Follow up query people: Would the absence of a local license affect my eligibility and/or employment? Would it be a plus if I did? or it wouldn't matter any which way?

Wasn't aware of the very informative thread on ILL. great job guys, keep it coming.;)

It does not matter.
