ILA OPI Information

Hi,

I'm planning to take the ILA OPI next friday. Anyone who knows anything about ILA OPI? What questions are being asked? How long will it take to finish the exam? and How would i prepare for this exam??? I need to take this exam to get a license here in Maryland.

congratulations almond_tree for nailing it. i'm a bit apprehensive on taking ILA OPI since i've never set foot on a hospital for a work experience after graduating in 2007. is there something that i should be preparing should i be asked about nursing questions? i hope you could enlighten me on this. i have been contemplating on taking this exam over ibt. is this worth it? i hope to hear from your end soon. :)

Hello everybody!

We are also a Filipino currently living here in Baltimore, MD. I'm new to this site and I find this site useful and made me quite at home coz all/most of you are also Filipinos.

My wife is planning to take an ILA-OPI this coming September 2011 for the NCLEX. Is there any ILA-OPI phone #s to call for further inquiries/questions? I already downloaded the ILA-OPI registration form and we even went to the address they gave (in Catonsville, MD) for the money order and it so happen that the office is only an "PO Box" type. Means they only receive letters. I'm asking for the phone #s because I couldn't find any site for us to know what are the requirements before taking the ILA-OPI. On the first page of the ILA-OPI Reg Form says "Pls read the requirements for registration before completing this registration form.... Please see FAQ's for important information." I really couldn't find a site for the requirements & FAQ's. My other question is: Where did you apply the ILA-OPI? Is it thru on line like we are doing? Can somebody please give an info about the process, etc., etc.

hey romer! you're in baltimore too? how was your wife's exam? i hope she did great. anyway, i hope she could give me insights on the ILA OPI. i have over a week to decide to opt for this or IBT. i would truly appreciate it. thanks! :)

I am glad to find the website, and know there are some people have this question like me. I am planning to take OPI test next

Saturday. I just need someone who can enlighten me about how to prepare this test. What kinds of question they usually ask? or Should I prepare this test as TOFEL test. I am deeply appricate if anyone who can help me out.

I already registered for OPI test but 4 days already didn't hear from them at all. I didn't get an email back. Could u give me any idea that when is the normally day I got response from them.Please... Thank you

I passed the ILA-OPI months ago. practice, pronunciation, presence of mind and confidence are keys to passing. Basically, they can ask anything under the sun, just sound smart and be alert.
