If You Could Turn Back Time . . .

Published

If you could go back in time 10 years and give yourself a piece of advice (knowing what you know now), what would it be?

Hi Ronna

Is your real name "Ronna"?.......it is not a common name.

My real name is Ronna.....

Just wondering....always like to hear "another Ronna"

I would have become a veterinarian and worked in a zoo...possibly specializing in endangered animals. I would have loved to work with Jack Hanna or Steve Irwin. But as I grew up, I was encouraged to get good grades, get a good job, get married and stay home with the children.

That didn't work out too well.

Specializes in Geriatrics/Alzheimer's.

I would have completed my ADN instead of stopping at LPN. Now it's so hard to go back. Or I would have went to college to become a Special Education teacher, instead of listening to my son's father, at the time.

Specializes in Cardiac, med/surg, ICU, telemetry.

My middle name is Susan....I always wanted to have a more common name when I was growing up....

I like my name now.:yeah:

I would've paid more attention to what I really WANTED to do with my education/career, and also more attention to what my gut was telling me about my crummy marriage, sad to say....if the former had been thought out more carefully, I would have had more control over the latter....live & learn....

AMEN to that!!! Some of us (me) tend to do more living than learning :uhoh3: . It's never too late though!

Specializes in critical care: trauma/oncology/burns.
