If I take my test- how do I find results early?

I saw some of you discussing how to find your name under the registry before your test results are accessible. How do you do this?

You go to the website for your state BON, and check to see if your name is there as having a license.

Does anybody know when they usually post the results? ( i mean how many days after the test).

I think it depends on if the state you are being licensed in uses "Quick Results". If it does use "Quick Results" then your license should post to that Board of Nursing's website 48 hours after you take your test. I'm not sure how long it takes to post in the states that do not have "Quick Results". Hope this helps. :)

Quick results with Pearson-Vue is completely different from "Quick Results" wit the BON.

Pearson-Vue will post results exactly 48 hours after you take the exam, if your state participates in early results and you have paid the $7.95. There are some states that will have your license posted that same night, and others a day or two later. Most take about 5 days on average before you will see your name as listed on their website.

Even if a state participates in Quick Results, it does not mean that your license will be posted at the same time. It is usually still a few days after.

I guess Maryland BON is just super quick then b/c my license was posted on the MBON website exactly 48 hours after I took my test. Guess each state is different.

Exactly. That was my point, each state can do as they please. There is no set rule for any of them. Some have been known to have the license posted before the person taking the exam even arrives home.
