that I would spend the last 5 plus years working and going to school just to get the pre-recs done and then in the end miserably fail the last (twice) I would have never put myself through this. I'm sure I'll need to vent more but this journey seems to be over... I have disappointed myself and my family and .... there ....i justdon't see any recovery from this. i have run out of time, money, self esteem... middle aged and still haven't found where i belong. There is the pain of getting dumped or heart broken but when you f' yourself .... I really did the best i could and failed miserably... I hardly got to the start line ..... gosh, what on earth could. Anyway, this is a new pain.
All I can recommend to someone new is get any hard classes over first, esp if you are older and don't have all the time in the world. I just can't even imagine ...
I really can't

I went to community college for 7 years! I some how managed to **** away the same amount in Pell Grants, that I currently OWE in actual federal student loans. I wasted 2k at a trade school after high school. I failed out of community college one year and got all "F"s. I lied to my family and walked in a graduation in a community college when I failed out. I managed to earn my B.S. degree in 2005, almost 11 years after graduating HS! I was still in college at my 10 year High School Reunion! LOL! So don't feel bad. Think about what you do have than what you had. It's called life. Don't feel bad.

Which class(es) did you fail, if I may ask? You could retake them! There is no penalty for retaking prereq courses. Did you submit a FAFSA for financial aid? Hang in there!! It's all doable!

I'm sorry, I know that's got to be so frustrating. What class(es) did you fail? Let's examine what could be done better next time. Maybe some habits need to be changed.
Don't beat yourself up. It happens to everyone at some point.
