Ca do not require English exams however you will need it for the VSC
what does VSC stand for?
im sorry, im new in this field..
Part of the immigration process is Visa Screen Certificate VSC and we do not recommend applying for it until you have passed NCLEX and passed English exams. All info regarding VSC can be found on the CGFNS website
thank you so much..
You are welcome
Just to add you are aware of retrogression and a long wait for the US? May want to consider another country for work experience

which country will you suggest:confused:
Depends on where you want to work and gain experience. If you already have a job where you are and working as a nurse maybe no need to look at another country. With retrogression currently you are looking at a few years wait due to the high demand

CA only has a requirement of the foreign grad if they are going to be applying for the interim permit or IP. But that also requires that the nurse wrote and passed the CGFNS exam. If you are applying for the regular RN license, then they do not have a requirement.
And with visas the way that they are right now, it would be impossible to be working with this type of permit. We do not have visas at this time and makes no sense to write the CGFNS exam for CA when it will not help you.
We also never recommend CA for initial licensure as they do not issue a license without a SSN#, and you are unable to obtain that until you have gone thru the immigration process and are ready to work.
