that is really a big problem here in the Philippines.. Many nurses are unemployed and the june 2008 nursing licensure exam has already been released, it only means that unemployed nurses has another 26,000+ new rivals in finding a job.. Government hospitals claim that they are understaff of nurses but when you try to apply for the position, they would just tell you that there aren't any vacant position..*sigh i just wish the government will look into this issue because not only the nurses are finding it hard to look for a job.. they say that we are just getting an experience here and readily fly abroad.. well, can they blame us??? life is getting harder and harder in here.. oh well..

well i got mine 3 months after the release of the result. as what others say, it depends on your surname.. they will be giving a schedule on when to register alphabetically..:wink2:

i have already applied for eligibility to take the NCLEX exam for California. Right now im wondering if i still have to get a CGFNS evaluation even if it is not required by the CA BON. i'm having worries that if i apply a job in CA, the employer might ask for a CGFNS evaluation. please help..

What English examination does the California Board of Nursing require for international graduates? is it IELTS or TOEFL? I'm a nurse from the Philippines.. thanks in advance..
