Ideas for inscription on class ring?

Published

Hey guys,

I am graduating nursing school (YAY!!!!) and am looking for ideas for the inscription on the inside of my class ring. I would prefer something that pertains to nursing, but it doesn't absolutely have to.

Some examples:

First, do no harm

Dare to care

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Nurse's Creed

Lord, Let me begin today with your blessing. To provide care for those who need me. Give me patience to listen. The intuition to see beyond the visible. Knowledge to practice the art of nursing. And the attitude to deliver care with humility. Help me see every patient clearly. Unbiased and with individual respect. Help me face fear and anxiety with a kind word and gentle touch. Help me see the joy and wonder each new day brings. And let the gift of your healing light shine though my hands.

I thought this might look good in your ring if you could fit it all. We had to learn this for our graduation i can't believe i still remember it. And congrats. These are my thoughts use them as you wish..

"Be the change"

"Believe in miracles"

"God grant me the serenity"

"Never let go of hope"

"Love Hope Strength"

or "Love Hope Strength Courage"

"Believe"

Or how about "There's no place like home" LOL

These are all GREAT suggestions you guys!!! I love "God grant me the serenity", that seems to be a running theme for me so far.

Thank You!!!!

It's boring, but I would just use date and initials. What seems like a cool slogan today may be meaningless or too cute in 5 years.

Congrats Klamari ! For your ring how about "Today's the Day!". It sums up your accomplishments thus far and faith in the future.

These words came from Mel Fisher, a treasure hunter who spent 16 years looking for the Nuestra Senora de Atocha a Spanish ship that went down in a hurricane off Key West in 1620. Every day Mel would say Today's the Day ! on July 20 1985 his words came true when they found the ship and 40 tons of gold, silver and emeralds. He cared about his employees, the environment and always kept the faith.
