I did kaplan. Did ALL the questions in the question bank. Listened to about 85% of the online videos. read the book that comes with kaplan at least 3 times and piles of questions from the Saunders Nclex book. I did some questions from websites found on here. I would say 90-95% of my efforts were in kaplan and Saunders. here are some other sites:

(Weekly Questions from NCSBN)
hi yehs14,
start with your content first then start answering 100 items a day and read and understand the ratio (correct or incorrect). also before going to bed check your common lab values and your meds. if you are sitting the test by december or jan you should be fine.
the unit tests are also helpful.
books that i used:
illustrated study guide for nclex rn exam 6th ed (zerwekh)
davis nclex rn success 2nd ed (lagerquist) finished
saunders comprehensive review for nclex rn 3rd ed (silvestri) finished
mosby's pharmacology memory note cards (zerwekh) finished
prioritization, delegation & assignment (la charity) finished
good luck! :)
I suggest making a plan and sticking to it. Find a good place where you could concentrate and study. If you don't know much about your content, read Saunders Compre 4th ed for a month and a half. Do all the practice questions at the end of the chapter and read the rationales even if you got it right. Then start doing practice questions from 100-200 a day. Stick to it and never give up since in the NCLEX, you are given a maximum number of 265 questions to take. Just to make your brain get used to rationalizing for a longer time. Know the common drugs being used in the NCLEX and what they are for. Know your normal values and it's significance. PD&A from LaCharity would help you to delegate and assign tasks for the health care team since majority of the hospitals here has LPN's. We've never LPN's working the hospital back in the Philippines. Try Exam Cram 2nd ed and do the practice questions. Search some sites that provide free NCLEX questions. Lastly, PRAY. Good Luck! =D

Hello guys.
I am an RN from the Philippines. I will start my review classes on Nov. 9, 2009. I am planning to take the exam by December or early next year.
I still don't know what items should I study first.
Please give me some advice. Where should I focus?
Do you have any study plans that you can recommend?
Can I also have list of books that I should buy...
Please help me. I am really clueless on this.
Thanks!!!
