Yea there are plenty schools who don't require entrance exams just good in science courses and a decent gpa.

Retake some classes to boost your gpa and get med experiences! I had an undergrad 2.74 gpa and got into a BSN/MSN program. I retook like 3 classes and took an additional 5 more to boost my gpa, my science ended up as 3.9 and cumulative 3.59

My GPA is a 2.75. I plan on doing the accelerated program, which requires a 3.0. I have believe 6 to 8 pre requisites to bump the GPA up. I want to get a 4.0 but don't want to go below 3.0, realistically going for a 3.5. There is no TEAS scores. Will take the TEAS. Find a new employer over the next six month's. Wow them get a letter of recommendation from them and wow a professor. From there apply to a program. If all fails the LPN is the back up plan.

As long as I can get above a 54-56 I am guaranteed into the state run LPN program, unless they shut down again.

Best of luck on your endeavor.

I think we must remain mindful that the LPN role is not a consolation goodie or second-place prize for those who couldn't secure admission into an RN program.

I was in the same boat at one point because I was young, dumb, and just lacked discipline - the prereqs in my opinion were a cake walk. Yet honestly, I'm completely happy I went through that period. It taught me a lot. I would just say to all those struggling - don't give up. Get the help you need if you need it.

If you find yourself in a slump. Take a break.

I completely concur. Poor performance can teach us lessons if we're willing to learn from our mistakes. Failure can actually be the springboard to success if we figure out where we went wrong and conjure up a more effective plan of action to thrive.
