Hi i want to know about nursing curriculum in usa, if someone tells me that he is doing maths116 college algebra,what does that mean?? he is in which year?

There is no simple answer to your question as course codes such as Math 116 are unique to schools but this would be a basic algebra class that some students complete in HS others in college usually as a precursor to statistics.

Many colleges use the hundreds numbering system for their classes. Freshman level is 1XX, Sophomore is 2XX, Junior is 3XX, and Senior level is 4XX. So Math 116 College Algebra would be a freshman level algebra course. It doesn't necessarily indicate what year they are in college, only what level of difficulty the class is.
